Applications are invited from the candidates for the following posts in Northern Region of AAI   :

Sr. Assistant (Official Language)  [Rajbhasha] :  06 posts (UR-37, OBC-6, ST-7), Pay Scale : Rs. 14500-33500, Age : 18-30 years as on 15/02/2013, relaxation in age as per rules.
How to Apply : Candidates fulfilling the above conditions may submit their application in Hindi/ English to The Regional Executive Director, Airports Authority of India, Northern Region, Rangpuri, Gurgaon Road, New Delhi – 110037 along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 400/- drawn in favour of Airports Authority of India, payable at Delhi  SC/ST/PWD and Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
General Instructions:
1 Appointment to above mentioned posts are subject to fulfilling eligibility conditions and successfullypassing of Basic Training Course for a period of four months.
2 During training, incumbent is entitled for stipend as per rules.
3. The candidates will have to appear for test/interview at their own expenses. Only those candidates who qualify in the written exam will be allowed to appear in physical measurement test.

4. The candidates will be allowed to appear in driving test/physical endurance test subject to qualifying the physical measurement test. The candidates will be allowed to appear in Interview subject to qualifying Driving Test/Physical Endurance Test. SC / ST candidates called for interview will be paid 2nd class rail fare as per rules.In case at any stage, it is revealed that the candidate has furnished false information his candidature,irrespective of his position in selection process, would be cancelled and he will not be considered for selection/appointment.

AAI also provides Air Traffic Management Services (ATMS) over entire Indian Air Space and adjoining oceanic areas with ground installations at all Airports and 25 other locations to ensure safety of Aircraft operations.The Airports at Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Calicut, Guwahati, Jaipur, Trivandrum, Kolkata & Chennai, which today are established as International Airports, are open to operations even by Foreign International Airlines. Besides, the International flights, National Flag Carriers operate from Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli, Varanasi, and Gaya Airports. Not only this but also the Tourist Charters now touch Agra, Coimbatore, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna Airports etc.AAI has entered into a Joint Venture at Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Nagpur Airports to upgrade these Airports and emulate the world standards.All major air-routes over Indian landmass are Radar covered (29 Radar installations at 11 locations) along with VOR/DVOR coverage (89 installations) co-located with Distance Measuring Equipment (90 installations). 52 runways are provided with ILS installations with Night Landing Facilities at most of these Airports and Automatic Message Switching System at 15 Airports.
